Hello again. Today, it was actually dry here on the estate for the first time! Today, we woke up early and went to eat breakfast. Afterwards, the chief and his wife took us on a tour of the Bannokburn Battlefield, Stirling Castle, and the Wallace Monument. First was the battlefield. We didn't go to the actually battlefield, it was just a museum. We saw an awesome demistration of the weapons the Scots used against the British, like the spear and long bow. After that, we were able to try on the armor they wore. The chain mail was very heavy and hard to put on, but harder to take off. Then, we went to the Stirling Castle. It was giant! There were staff people walking around in costumes of that era. Finally, we went to the Wallace Monument. From there, we had an awesome view of the castle. Then, only the boys and the adults went up all 246 stairs to the top. Along the way up, there were different rooms like one with Wallace's actual sword and one with information about how they built the monument. At the very top, there was a great view. Also, my brother, Brian, found a bunch of coins. Now, we are in a cottage about to do a scavenger hunt, so goodbye for now.
