Kevin: Tour around the Carmichael Estate

Hello again, if anyone is reading this. Today in Scotland was wonderful, execpt for the morning. I woke up at about 4:30, which is 11:30 for America, with a terrible migraine. I was finally able to go back to sleep an hour later. We woke up at 8:45, and went to breakfast in the girls' cottage. After, we went to the Carmichael Church for a hour service, where we witnessed a Scottish baby be babtized. Afterwards, we went to the vistor center of the estate for lunch, but first we went through the only wax museum in Scotland. It was really creepy, since the wax figures looked so real (see pictures). After the lunch, the chief of the Carmichael Clan led us on a tour. First, we went to the East Gate. Also, we saw the Eagle Gate. The stone eagles were stolen a while ago, but they were found in a ditch a year later. Just a couple monthes ago, a car backed up into the gates, but a local stone mason repaired it. Next, we went to Kirk Hill, where the original estate's church was (it was moved farther away). Also, some of the former chief had a special graveyard for them. We went down the hill, where we went to see the ruins of the Carmichael House again. In the boiler room, my dad found a skull of a dead rat (don't believe my brother if he says he found it). Then we went to the former curling pond, then to the dove cot. Finally, we got back to the cottages and ate a delicious meal of lasanga, where I am now.
