The third day. Today we went to the informational museum-like place of Bannock-burn. We were explained the importance of the battle and how it basically gave Scots their independence using sly military strategies and techniques. We tried on all of the armor that Scots and Englishmen would have had to wear. A few pictures should be uploaded soon! After that we visited Sterling Castle, in which has been restored. We were told that King James built that castle as a celebration of him and his french wife, Marie. There were sculptures placed on the outside of the castle (in high elevation) that represented the power of King James. Most of the sculptures were Greek gods and goddesses. Then we headed over to the Wallace Monument! The views from that altitude are stunning. Defiantly a must-see. Ill update everyone later! See ya!
