Carlie: Day One

Yesterday we landed on Scottish soil, and what beautiful soil it is. The scenery here is remarkable; it always has been. This is my sixth time visiting the Carmichael Estates. Each day here in Scotland, on the Estates, is another adventure. Unlike America, in Scotland you are given the "Right to Roam". The Estates is defiantly a place where you exercise that right! The forests are unbelievably thick. The trees just tower over us humans. The vegetation is in an abundance here, unlike the man-planted vegetation back where I live! Although it is rainy most of the time (like today), it remains gorgeous!
Even though this is my sixth time on the Estates; is it my first time being apart of Heritage Week. I will be blogging each day about my adventures!
Today we attended a welcoming BBQ and then began our blogs. Ill keep y'all posted!
