On day four (Tuesday 21st June) our wonderful Clan Farmhouse Kitchen Cook (Kym) cooked us a true Scottish Breakfast followed. The participants then went to blog and catch up on emails. Kym then showed them how to make an ancient Scottish dessert called Cranakin that consists of many yummy things including a small dram of whisky and oats!!
After that we headed off to New Lanark to explore Robert Owen's utopian society. This brilliant man introduced the idea of treating workers better = more work done. The Annie Mcleood Experience is well worth a visit. We headed back to the cottages for a quick rest then down to the Tearoom to make our own Celtic designs and we put them on T-shirts and stained Glass - thankyou Faye!
The participants played games in the cottages before heading to bed.
